About the Malaysian energy market
Malaysia’s electricity mix is dominated by fossil fuels, with coal and gas contributing about 45% and 35% to its electricity supply respectively. As the government explores alternative power sources, it is pushing for the growth of solar, with schemes such as the Large Scale Solar.
